So besides running an information funnel on Facebook for Dog Moms in OKC (www.facebook.com/groups/okcdogmoms) we also donate $$ to local animal rescues & shelters through event sales throughout the year.
On the personal side, I also foster rescue dogs, like this guy below… Russ (pictured) is my newest foster who is ready to find his fur-ever family! He is a 5mo old, yellow lab mix. He is crazy smart, house broken, crate trained and a big scaredy cat!
We rescued him off of the euthanasia list at the Shawnee Animal Shelter &&& he has been so grateful. He loves to be outside, isn’t afraid of the water (he tried to rescue one of his foster brothers after they fell into the pool…swoon!) and is learning to like the outside world on his daily adventure walks with his Foster Dad. He loves belly-rubs & playing with all of his toys, especially his dinosaurs, which means he’s also a nerd at heart, just like his foster fam! He is also excellent with other animals and does well with making new animal friends!
